Our team includes board-certified pediatricians and experienced nurse practitioners who are passionate about children's health. Each member brings unique skills and extensive training, ensuring your child receives comprehensive and compassionate care.

James J. Wu, MD

Dr. J. Wu is Board Certified in Pediatrics and joined the practice in 2012 after completing his Pediatric training at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. He regularly sees patients at Pomona Valley Hospital and you can find him in clinic 5 days a week.

Darvin Bunhor, MD, MPH

Dr Bunhor joined the practice in 2023 after completing his Pediatric Residency at UCLA Harbor. He speaks English and Khmer and is in clinic Monday through Friday.

Shihhui "Sophie" Tsou, NP

Sophie completed her Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner degree in 2015. Sophie speaks English and Chinese and you can schedule appointments with her on Tuesday.

April Kilmer, NP

April joined SoCal Pediatrics in 2019. She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2018 and can be found in clinic Wednesday and Thursday. She used to be a NICU nurse at CHOC and has a particular interest in premature babies.

Emily Pettis, NP

After working at CHOC for many years, Emily joined SoCal Pediatrics in 2024. She is normally in clinic Monday through Wednesday.

Hanna Mulingtapang, NP

Hanna joined SoCal Pediatrics in 2025 with a lot of experience. She is a Bruin to the core and can be found in clinic Monday, Thursday, and Friday.

Julia Srivastava, NP

Juila is also a Bruin and also joined in 2024! She's a heart specialist and is in clinic Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
